This car has lived in a garage for most of its life with only 107,377 total miles on it. The car has been well maintained over its life – all original and still runs good. This is the 1st generation 1970 RS Camaro with the split bumper. Engine number and body numbers match. Frame is straight with no damage (other than minor dings and paint scrapes). This is a California car with no rust except for minor issues on bottom of rear window, nder the trunk carpet, nbsp;and around one of the tail lights. Some minor paint issues (see photos).
Summary: A very nice car for someone who wants to restore to its original glory – never been in an accident and the frame is straight and true according to a garage that inspected the car recently. Has the desirable split front bumper. Has original matching numbers on the frame and the motor. The automatic transmission has been checked by a reputable garage and works great. Been well maintained and housed in garage for most of its life. I have tried to honestly describe all the issues that I know of – this is a 45 year old car so it will not look the same today as it did in 1970. But it will not take much to get it back to its original glory.Please look over the photos carefully and ask any questions prior to bidding.
