This is an original unrestored car with the original paint. It’s not perfect but is it ever nice! Bought it over 22 yrs. ago with a 6 cyl 3spd O.D..
Drove it home, onverted it to a big block 402 with Power Glide. Raced it for a number of yrs. in the 12 sec Street Bracket. It has evolved over time to be the Crowd Please’n Tank it is today. 3,940 Lbs. – best run 10.68 @ 123 mph . Runs high 70’s to high 80’s.
It’s a 700 lift roller withrev kit-roller rockers Crane Stud Girdle, nbsp;oval port Edelbrock aluminum heads with 2.250 intakes, .19 exhaust valve and Manley Nexttec spring, olley strip dominator, uel curve engineering prepped 850 Holley. It’s a .060 over 402 with TRW 12.1 forged pistons Scat crank and rods. Milodon Pan (Chevelle) home made custom Step Headers with Merge Collectors 2 1/8” to 2 ¼” Tubes and 4” Collectors. Aluminum Cross Flow radiator, eadenbear electric water pump and 19” electric fan. Runs 5,000 Stahl A1 converter with powerglide 9” Ford, oser 31 Spline axles, trange carrier and spool with 5.13 gears.Glide has Hurst quarter stick-line lock-front disc brakes. Long reach QAI 90/10 shocks on front (outside of spring) for maximum lift – Rear weight Jacks and 50/50 shocks. Custom modified upper control arm and traction bar.
Will hook in a car wash.
Has a Fuel Safe 5 gal cell-Magna Flo Fuel pump all braided lines #10 to pump #8 pump to motor and #6 from regulator to carb. MSD Crank Trigger – Mallory Tack drive distributor with Crab Cap.. and MSD wires.
15 x 10” Monococ aluminum wheels and 9”x 30” Hoosiers Radials, 5 x 4” Monococ front runners with 7.60x15 Moroso Tires. One off custom built hub cap adapters for that grandma look.
Foot brake at 4,000 RPM-Shift at 7600 goes through eyes at 76-7800 RPM.
