While this ’56 Bel Air wasn’t in a barn. it has legitimately been in dry storage. untouched for the last 30 years. The owner purchased the car in Southern California in 1964. drove the Bel Air for about 18 years before parking the car to focus on her family. Always intending to fix the car up. this Bel Air was kept in storage until very recently. As you well know. ’56 Bel Air convertibles are fairly rare cars. and to find a restoration candidate so complete is even rarer! As shown there are some places with rust. but nothing compared to one that was found in a field. Trim appears to be complete. Engine is the Power Pack option. VIN shows that the paint color. top and interior are correct to this car. Paint is original and untouched. upholstery likewise is original. a seat cover hides the original front seat material.
