For your consideration, 1956 Chevrolet Belair. As you can see in the pictures she's a 4 door, cylinder car. Let me say right off that This is NOT A Show car. That being said it is a very presentable every day driver, hat everyone loves, e were even given a trophy at the local cruise night for most original car. A ton of work has gone in to the car to include, full tune up, nd oil change, ew fuel pump, ew spark advance, ew carburetor which is the correct Rochester B|C model. New intake, xhaust, nd pushrod cover gaskets. Brand new factory weather stripping has been installed on all 4 doors and the trunks. The trunk divider and insulation panels are new as well.We have gone totally through the brake system on the car, ew master cylinder, heel cylinders & brake shoes on all 4 wheels. Every mechanical function on this car works just as it should. This is a Drive anywhere classic car.
Cosmetically the car looks nice, here are a few flaws in the paint but none of them show from more than a few feet away. A lot of the chrome has been replaced including the front bumper & bumper guard, ender extensions, ood bar and extensions, he hood logo and bezel, he hood ornament, ll the exterior door handles, he Belair script on the quarter panels, he rear bumper guards, nd we had the tail light bezels re-chromed as well. The tail light lenses are new as are the parking light lenses. The interior has new carpets kick-panels and headlight dimmer switch, nd the original seats are very nice. All interior lights work as does the original cigarette lighter and dash clock. The factory radio is in the car and does power up, ut no sound comes out. We ordered a new tube for it, opefully that will fix the proble, ut for the sake of this I have to say it's not working. Aside the radio the only thing I know doesn't work right it the drivers rear window wont go down.
Weare the 3rd owners of the car, nd have all paper work dating to the day it was sold new, ncluding the original owners manual, itle, ealer invoice and even a copy of the check, hat the car was purchased with. Take a look at the car run and drive, ttp://youtu.be/QhTmPXDcuKs. This a no reserve auction, nd I reserve the right to end the auction at any time, s the car is also listed locally. Please feel free to ask questions, nd happy bidding!!!
I did want to add that I found a small exhaust leak around the doughnut gasket today, t's not terribly loud but it's there. Just trying to make sure the add is as accurate as I can make it.
