Description

1963 Impala Super Sport factory 4-speed

Hi there, am selling my 1963 Impala Super Sport coupe. I have owned my '63 over a year now and initially bought itease theguilt trip I carried for the 1963 I let go when I was a kid. However now I realized with my job and other priorities I will never get to it and needs to go to a compassionate owner who is experienced in body & mechanical work (unlike myself with body work).

The BAD:

Rust areas:

1. Rearbody/trunk braces

2. Front floor braces where it meets rockers are rusted (see pics)

3. The floors were replaced before I bought this car and didn't realize it until later after Iwas underneath it,a maniac did a terrible job replacing them so they need redone as well.

4. Hood has 3 rust holes in center and the driver door has to large non rust dings.

The inside of the quarter panels and trunk looksolid and the frame is clean as well. No structural damage at all.

Interior needs complete interior kit:

Originally Cordovan brown with fawn interior and when I got i, heperson before me with rather poor taste had a tuck and roll interior which I got rid of and bought the buckets and rear seat you see now that need reupholstery .Needs door panels, eadliner and rear package shelf (the metal part the previous owner hacked two large rectangles for speaker box).

The engine is a late 1970's small block (Ibelieve an original 327 car) though the Impala has it's original Muncie 4-speed transmission.I drove the car oncearound the block with poor brakesthough drove good and the Muncie shifted good. Later badrusted gas clogged up the carb and fuelpump and lines. Also the alternator or voltage regulator is not charging the battery like it should.

Good points:

1. I did replace therusty gas tank and fuel pumpwith a new tank and pump though the carb needs to be rebuilt.Runs good with your foot on the gas.

2.The factory tachometer and 4 speed shifter are there (except for the handle).

3. The grille and bumpers and glass are good and still retains all the Super Sport trim (needs redone though there).

4. Original Muncie 4-speed (3831704).

If you want more photos or have any questions just let me know. If you have a friend or relative in the Seattle area please schedule an appointment with me to have them inspect it in person bumper to bumper (can't drive it with the carb and brake issue though can start it). As I said before the Impala needs a lot of work both interior and sheet metal wise. If your not a professional or don't have the means to pay to have it restored correctly please don't bid. I don't want to see it taken apart and somebody losing interest and getting rid of it. I don't need the money though I don't want it to sit outside in the winter either (no space now).

The Impala is sold AS IS & WHERE IS, inning bidder is responsible for pick up as well and have a 2 weeks after auction ends and funds received in full to remove from property (at buyer expense). The Impala needs to be picked up by a flat bed type tow truck an delivered to a car transporter because it has carb and brake issues and not safe to drive and meet a transporter. I sold a 1969 Bel Air a couple years ago where an out of state buyer hada transport company load the car on a flat bed and took it to the shipping place for the auto transport to pick up. Worked great. I will help position the Impala to load where it's parked on the flat bed tow truck though that's it.

Payment: If you are a zero, lowor negative bidder contact me first or your bids will be canceled. Payment, uthorized Bank Cashiers check, oney order or cash required. If bank cashiers check (no Nigerian scams) by a well known bank, his will have to clear before the Impala and title are released, o exceptions. I also bank with Chase and you can direct deposit the funds in my account before the Impala leaves and you would have deposit slip of the transaction as well your choice though this is fastest method of payment. I used this many times on other Impalas I sold, orks great. A $300.00 non refundable deposit is required within 24hrs after auction ends and the remaining balance due within7 days of auction ends, o exceptions. Again if you want any other photos or have any questions at all, lease let me know and I will do so and yesthe Impala has a clear Washingon State title in my nameThanks for your time and good luck on winning, egards.
