Description

For sale is a 1957 Chevrolet 2 door hardtop. As you can see by the photos it is a very nice looking example of the 57 2DR HT. It was stripped down to bare metal by the previous owner and had the patch panels welded in as necessary. This is not a high dollar car, ut it could be with some sweat equity and a few dollars spent. This car has had most of the hard work done and most of the money spent already. I'm trying not to describe this car better than it is, ut at the same time it is much better than many I've seen for the same money or more with much more potential. The 327 engine is equipped with an edelbrook high rise and holley carburetor, eaders and new duel exhaust all the way back. The tires are excellent BF Goodrich T/A's mounted on nice wheels. There are new brakes on all corners and they work well. The exterior color is Harbor Blue and is a factory 57 Chevy color that is rare. The interior is both Harbor Blue and Larkspur Blue also a factory 57 color. The interior is all new to include carpets,headliner seats front and rear and new period correct bowtie floor mats. The car also comes with a complete Unisteer power steering unit that needs to be installed. What this car needs more than anything is someone with the time and ability to do the tweaking necessary to adjust fix and align the items the builder apparently wasn't capable of. The reserve is modest for a car of this quality, ranted it is not a high dollar car but it could be with the correct work completed with very little money involved.
