Description

This 71 Chevy Shortbox K10 is a factory shortbed. not cut down or modified. Truck has been repainted to Black and White and the interior redone in Red. was originally Blue with Blue interior. Paint is less than a year old. as is the interior. Any rust issues were addressed before bodywork (rockers have been replaced). I would consider the quality of the body/paint to be a 7 or 8 out of 10. It was not built to be a show truck but it is definitely very nice for a driver. This truck draws a crowd everywhere it goes. The Drivetrain is new with less than 200 miles on it. The factory 350 was replaced with a rebuild 402 Big Block that decodes to be a 1970 truck motor. Heads are ported and polished and a new Comp Cams 4x4 grind cam with roller tip rockers were used. New Edelbrock 650cfm AVS Off Road carb sits on an Edelbrock Performer Manifold. Ceramic Coated Hooker Headers lead to a full mandrel bent 2. 5” dual exhaust system flowing through Flowmaster 50 series mufflers and chrome exhaust tips. New 4 core radiator and fan clutch. The factory 4spd manual was replaced with a 700R4 automatic built to hold up to the Big Block. A factory truck tilt auto steering column was added and auto pedals. etc were all swapped in to make everything look like a factory auto truck. It starts. runs. drives. stops. signals. etc like it’s supposed to. Power Steering and Power Brakes work great. It has front discs and rear drums as factory in 1971. 4x4 works great with rebuilt NP205 Transfercase and Warn front hubs. I was just finishing this project when I found out my job was ending. Bills to pay so truck needs to go… I have somewhere around $24k into this truck. My loss. your gain.
