Up for auction is this stunning 1962 Corvette Convertible. As you can see from the pictures that this is an above average driver condition car. The current owner bought the car in 2007 and has pampered the car ever since. It has always been stored indoors in a dry garage covered up with a genuine Wolf cover that goes with the car. The Vette was completely restored prior to him buying the car and he was told it was a low mile car before the ground up restoration. The true miles on the numbers matching 327ci - 340hp engine are unknown. The throaty sound of this Corvette is amazing with the original Duntov factory Camshaft. The engine numbers are 3782870 found on the left rear of the block and 5112595 found on the right front, his number matches the vin of the car. The seller has only added about 50 miles to this beauty in the last year. The 4-speed manual transmission shift nice and smooth making this a very fun car to drive.

The Roman Red paint on the car is nice but does have some imperfections. From 5’ out the paint is nice but the closer you get to the Vette you will notice some small runs, swirls, ust fisheyes and visible tape lines. The original color of the car was Honduras Maroon. The hardtop is also painted to match the car and also has some light scratches in the paint. The chrome looks nice for the age of the restoration. The black soft top is in like new condition as you can see from the pictures. Under the car you will see that the frame is in very good condition with no rust and is very solid.
The interior is nice and clean and ready to go. The black vinyl seats as you can see are in very good condition. The carpet, oor panels and dash are all in very good condition. The clock, ig lighter, ipers motor/washer and heater do not work.The Tachomete, peedometer, il Pressure gauge, MP gauge and Volts gauge all work as they should. The Corvette does have a newer “Corvette” AM/FM Cassette player installed. The dash was not cut up putting it in. All the light and turn signals work.
