Description

I own a restoration shop and this is a car I am selling for a customer. It is just a real nice 1962 Corvette that has never had a body off restoration and shows one re-paint. The owner does not know when it was painted but still looks bright and shiny. It is showing 78,300 miles and could be the actual mileage. The underside has never been restored and it shows. The engine was a crate LT 1 and was installed about nine years ago. The owner thinks it has gone about 12,000 miles since then. He drives it every week. The transmission shifts fine with no noises or issues. It had power steering installed about three years ago and it steers perfectly. It needs nothing mechanically. Hop in and drive. The body is super nice with a couple of flaws in the paint. One in the center of the hood and another at the bottom of the trunk lid. The last one is in the left side door jamb. These can be seen in the photos. That's about it. It looks like the original color was Almond Beige as you can see that in the door jamb. The car is tight and drives the way it should. It is not a show car but presents itself well. It does have both tops. I will include a photo of the hard top. The interior is nice but the carpeting is faded and should be re-dyed. All the gauges work but it has a fussy fuel gauge. Needs a new sending unit. To see and drive the car or if you have any questions, all Bruce at 916-652-6852 weekdays.
