1970 Chevrolet C/10 Pickup
ENGINE
Balanced four bolt main 350, lat top hyper-eutectic pistons, ron Vortec 63cc chamber heads, delbrock air gap intake, olley 750 CFM vacuum secondary carburetor, SD 6al ignition box with MSD electronic distributo0r, ones Racing 3 best serpentine system, 15 amp alternator, ones racing high volume water pump, eadman headers, omp Cams hydraulic flat tapet cam kit 236/490, on Davis aluminum radiator with integrated duel electric fans.
TRANSMISSION AND REAR AXLE
Bowtie overdrives 700r four speed over drive transmission, ingle piece drive shaft, ear axle is a 12 bolt posi-traction with 373 gears differential with five lug axles.
BRAKES
Front 5 lug drilled rotors with rear drum with hydro boost assist, PP rear disc brake kit included but not installed. (Rear rotors are drilled also) Stainless steel brake lines.
SUSPENSION
Front coils lowered 2 1/2 inches with spindles and one in ch lower springs. Front end alignment is no problem. Stock control arms. All new ball joints and bushings, arger sway bar added, YB shocks.
Rear suspension is truck arm with coil springs lowered with springs 2 inches and 2 inch lowering blocks sway bar added, djustable panhard rod, elocated rear shocks, ild frame c-notch for axle to frame clearance.
WHEELS AND TIRES
American Racing Torque Thrust D 15x8 with 255-60-15 front tires and 275-60-15 rears. There are no tire clearance issues.
BODY
This truck was a true frame off build. The entire cab and bed were taken down to bare metal. The frame and all suspension parts were sand blasted primed and repainted semi gloss black. The body color as O2C blue pearl metallic which is a Subaru color and shows off just how straight the body is. The factory air conditioner/heater were removed and the gigantic holes in the firewall were patched and smoothed. The MSD box is mounted under the dash inside the cab. The dash speaker grill was eliminated. The new gas filler is in the left rear fender inside the bed controlled by a button on the turn signal indicator that actuates a door popper to open the gas door. The tail gate handle was relocated to inside of the gate. 2002 Chevrolet truck tailgate latches and strikers were added for a very gentle and positive tail gate closing. The skate pockets were eliminated smoothed. The electric radio antenna is located in the right side front stake pocket and is flush mounted to the top of the bed rail. A cowl induction hood was added.
INTERIOR
Gattis upholstery in Salinas, A. did the interior. 2002 Chevrolet truck electric bucket seats with console were fitted to the cab. An IDIDIT tilt steering column and Auto meter gauges were installed.
The bottom end of the engine has 20,000 miles on it. 4,213 miles on the top end and cam, ransmission, ear end, rakes and the rest of the build.
The CD player is installed with some of the wiring in place and will have to be completed to work
The truck has a clean and clear title and is currently registered.
