Description

This is a clean example of an antique Chrysler coupe. All original, nmolested car. These are extremely hard to find. We have been searching for another that has sold or is for sale and we have been unable to find another. This is a rare opportunity to own a piece of Chrysler history. This year was a first for many new features in power and for this style coupe body.
This car was in a private collection for the past 40 years. It was recently taken out of storage, ll of the mechanics were gone through and the car was brought to running condition. The car runs like a sewing machine and will drive but I suggest the wheels be restored before driving much. I do not know much about wooden wheels so I can't say how safe they are to drive on.
This is a perfect car for the collector looking for something to tinker with and take to parades and car shows. Ideally it should be in a museum. It needs to have the passenger running board wood repaired and the vinyl on the running boards needs to be replaced. The finish on the wheels is weathered and could stand to be refinished.Mechanically the car is in great shape. Everything works with no issues.
The car is all original besides an ignition key was added as well as an electric fuel pump to assist the vacuum fuel system. The fuel tank was recently dropped and re-sealed.
I bought this car with the intentions of making a hot rod but after inspecting the car I realized this is too nice and too original to hot rod.
--------------(PLEASE NOTE)--------------I took the seat and carpet out just for the photos and it was put back in. I wanted to show the condition of the floors and the back and bottom of the seats.
I also have the original winged helmet radiator cap it's just not on in the photos. Due to its value it is not left on the car when it's out in public.
Please ask any questions you have befor you enter a bid for the car. I will require a non refundable deposit of fine hundred dollars from the winner at the end of the auction. The car is available for inspection by appointment only. I work seven days a week and hold a hectic schedule but am happy to show the car.
