The only place I found rust to be noticed on the body is the very beginning of a bubble in front of the left rear wheel. I did not do a complete check underneath. The car has always been garage kept. The A/C works well. I have always been impressed with the venting and A/C capability. The heater works fine. The cruise control works but must be set about 5 mph faster than desired as it will drift slower by that much. The radio receiver and cassette player work but there is no audio from the left front speaker. The tires have over half of their treadwear remaining. Wipers are in working order. The most recent repair was the left low beam head light was replaced. A few years ago one or both u-joints on the drive shaft were replaced. No transmission work has been required beyond transmission fluid changes. There are no maintenance records available. Car starts well if used daily. Throttle pumping required if it has not run for a number of days as do many engines with a carburetor. The car rides well and would expect it to be completely capable of being driven home by the buyer.
This car was purchased new by my parents. It is being sold as part of settling their estate. The seats are made with velour cloth. The power antenna has been replaced with an after market model. The headliner is loose. The driver side pillar has the interior lining coming off and the right front passenger door trim handle has detached. It is accident free and overall still a nice car.
