Description

Up for auction is my '88 Black on black conquest TSi. It just turned over 86k miles last night. I have owned it a year and have put a little under 2k miles on it. I have owned several of these in the past between selling my last one and buying this one has been 6 years and I searched for "the right one" (this one) for 2 years before finding it. Since buying we have child #4 on the way and I have come to terms with needing to pass it on. I'd rather someone enjoy it than me putting it away and it rotting into a "barn find" 10+ years down the road. On to the specifics:It is in very good condition for its 27 years of age. I have taken pictures of its cosmetic defects. Mechanically this is the smoothest starquest I have ever owned. It can sit a month between starts (very common unfortunately) and start right up and just purr! It is all original with the exception of a boost controller set @ 14psi a K&N air filter & a super trap muffler (OEM exhaust and catalytic converts from turbo to rear axle). The car does not have a sunroof has polished wheels 7" front (non SHP) and 9" rear (SHP) as well as SHP struts (which are not blown out). The car has zero leaks brakes are in good shape tires are like new (3k miles) cruise control power door locks power windows and power mirrors all work like they should etc. I bought the car in South Carolina and it was driven the 500 mile drive. I would hop in it and drive it anywhere w/o worry so if you are anadventuristand would rather drive than trailer it home go for it! I'll have fresh oil in it for the trip. The defects on the car are as follows: The gas filler hose needs replaced if you fill the car up 100% it'll drip fuel. It doesn't drip when your fueling only once you have fuel sitting in the hose. That is it as far as engine / mechanical goes. On the interior/cosmetics: the cassette player doesn't work (I tried using it with an aux in adaptor and it didn't function) the power antenna motor runs but the antenna itself doesn't go up and down & the driver seat has a hole in the upperbolster currently covered w/ duct tape as seen in the pics. On the body the front air dam has zero cracks but is scuffed from the bottom. Someone has previously repainted the bumper and didn't use enough flex agent and it has spider cracks. Not enough to notice if you were just looking over car but if you get down close or while washing you'd see them. The rear bumper has a few paint chips missing on driver corner and the front driver side head light has as dent from a wood shelf falling on it which also rubbed the fender. I think the marks on the fender will buff out but I haven't had it anywhere to try. There is legal tint installed but it needs to be redone. It is not bubbled up and you can see thru it but its aged and I just haven't been able to have it done. Also we do not haveemissionstesting here so I'm not sure if it would pass or not in your state.***Please note between taking the pictures and posting this ad I had the front decals removed (on the cowl and driver headlight) and it looks a lot better. It looked like someone had attempted removing them in the past and were unsuccessful. I have clear Alabama title in hand. I will give my personal number out for serious inquiries. Also I can make arrangements to show car if you are close enough to be able to come see it. I am located 30 miles West of Decatur AL which is just west of Huntsville North Alabama. 2 1/2 hours from Nashville airport and 1 1/2 hours from Birmingham airport. $500 deposit due within 24 hours of auction ending. Full payment due within 7 days of auction ending vehicle needs to be picked up within 10 days of auction ending. I will drive car up to 50 miles from 35650 to meet with a transporter. Shipping is 100% buyers responsibility this includes cost and organizing/scheduling. If you are needing car shipped I will work with you to get it where it need to be & when. If paying full balance via paypal you must agree to pay paypal's fees in doing so. I will cover the fees for the deposit. I am a 15 year ebay veteran 100% positive feedback bid with confidence! I've had a few questions about the air conditioning. It does have air conditioning and it functions as it should including blows out all vents as selected on the digital controls. A/C is cold and heat is hot.

Please see my youtube page for a video of start up and cruising down the road. I will upload a video either Friday or Saturday of a walk around of car (car is currently at detail shop getting a detail). I will also add a video of frame rails to show they are in great shape. Email me if you have any special requests. The car that was MPI and 4g64 swapped is not this car! This car is and has always been all original / not raced etc. www dot youtube dot com/pr4mnceman83 Thanks!

I have uploaded 6 videos that were taken today. 2 exterior 2 interior and 2 undercarriage. Do not confuse this car with my previous black one racing from several years ago. There should be a total of 8 videos of this car and they've been uploaded within the past week.wwwdotyoutubedotcom/pr4mnceman83Thanks and happy bidding! She will be missed...
