Description

Good Inspection until 12/2015. I purchased this vehicle not long ago. Its character really caught my eye the digital speedometer the fact the car talks to the occupants the lights on the doors and sides the plush interior the fact that overall inside and out it is clean. I drove the New Yorker for about 3 to 4 months and then the transmission went. The engine itself works well and has quite a bit of power but the transmission gave out. It still runs but will not top out over 30 miles an hour. I had a couple mechanics look at it and there conclusion is that the governor is bad in the transmission. Its ashame because I really would like to drive this car but for me not being a mechanic it would not be practical. This car can be fixed and if you are a mechanic or know one it might be worth it to you to do so. Again the engine is not the problem here. This car needs someone who is willing to take some time to get her back to her glory days. This car has character. There are not many left like this one there really arent. Although this car does move I would advise if you are not within a 10 mile radius to tow it your location.
