Restoration:

Rotisserie frame off restoration completed in March 2006, t has been driven approximately 4,100 miles since completion. Rebuilt all suspension and steering components, eplaced all rubber and weather striping parts, ew tinted glass side windows. Repaired and replated pot metal and chrome trim. Painted body and interior Winter White & Gold with 2 stage Urethane. Fabricated new tail lights, ackup lights, lastic crest inserts front and rear with UV resistant Lexan, oof medallions and hood emblem then plated them in 24 carrot gold.

The upholstery was done in lamb skin and wallaby parchment vinyl, old trim is factory original cloth, oor panels and seat backs are embossed as factory originals, runk carpeting and panels replaced along with sound insulation on trunk and hood.

Chassis and Drive train modifications

I wanted to keep the original appearance the same as factory stock but drive like a modern car. The drive train was replaced with a 392 Hemi V8 & 4sp. OD Torqueflite trans, ower disk/drum brake system, ate model Sanden A/C compressor, aginaw power steering pump and Nippindenso alternator mounted with custom fabricated brackets. Custom fabricated rear bumper pods and collars for 2” exhaust pipes.

Interior and electrical modifications:

Headliner mounted A/C registers& ducts, runk mounted evaporator and fan, ual rear seat speaker grills, ear passenger courtesy lights, ighted cigarette lighters & ash trays, light warning cluster in dash, position detente shifter with OD. Button and lighted range indicator, BD II connector under dash, M/FM radio with cassette and CD player installed in HiWay HiFi look a like box, utomatic retracting power antenna, ariable intermittent windshield wipers with automatic windshield washers, ruise control switches in left arm rest. A 12 volt neg. ground electrical system was built with circuit breaker and relay panel under dash, ew motors, ate model Chrysler switches, custom IC board for the gages and cruise control late model halogen lights in trunk and under hood, eft side view mirror.

Engine:

392 Hemi V8 engine rebuilt with new rings, earings, oller timing gear set, tandard bore and crank, .25 to 1 compression, sky 272 degree hydraulic camshaft and kit, eads have new valve guides intake and exhaust valves, ew oil & water pumps, ½” free flow exhaust manifolds with 2 ½” pipes, emi mufflers and 2” tail pipes. OBDII 1997 Dodge Ram electronics, ensors & correct factory wiring and connectors, CM controlled sequential multi-port electronic fuel injection with low impedance 34 lb. fuel injectors mounted in a modified Cragar aluminum 8-71 blower manifold with Dodge V10 throttle body, olley electric fuel pump with stainless steel fuel lines and Aero Motive adjustable fuel pressure regulator, hrome air filter.

Transmission:

A518 4 speed OD Torqueflite transmission with 10” hi-stall converter, custom fabricated shifter with lighted selector windows and detente handle with over drive off button in knob.

Electrical system:

12V electrical system negative ground with Nippindenso 120 amp alternator, lectronic cruise control, lectronic controlled A/C system with Sanden compressor, igh efficiency condenser with OEM style hoses & sensors, aginaw power steering pump and OEM style hoses, ustom wire harness with correct color code wiring and connectors for 1997 Dodge Ram with crimped and soldered OEM style wire terminals including all light socket button terminals, 4 page color wiring diagram, /p>

Brakes:

Dual hydraulic brake system with Bendix dual diaphragm power booster 11” front disk rotors 2 3/4” calipers, 1” X 2 ¾” rear drum brakes with parking brake hardware and cables hooked to original pull handle, roportioning valve & new brake lines and hoses, /16” wheel studs and nuts with left and right hand threads installed on all 4 hubs, lide on front rotors and rear drums, djustable rear wheel bearing retainers and seals.
