Offered for sale is an outstanding example of the iconic Japanese sports car that is the 240z. This Z was sold new in Bakersfield, A to a man that bought the car for his wife. They owned the car for nearly 40 years until they reluctantly sold itasit wasn't driven anymore. It wasalwayskept in the garage. The crack free original dash along with the condition of the rest of the car speaks to this. Nearly everything on the car is original including the numbers matching motor andall the functioning smog equipment. It was repainted once in the late 70's but is still in outstanding condition to this day.Ithas never been hit or taken apart, ll the body lines and gaps are crisp and correct. It also avoided ever getting the popular dealer installed door bumper guards. Recently it has beeninspected for safetyand found to still be usingSumitomo front brake pads which I believe were only installed at the factory, his along with pedal wear and overall condition makes the 37k on the odometer believableas actual mileage. However there is no documentation to verify this so it may have rolled over once. The pads are still safe so they remain, hough it did receivefresh oil, lugs, ew water pump, rive belts, nd filters. The factory A/C has also been recharged and works! Also instead of points itnow has anelectronic pickup for reliability. It did receive a new muffler as well which is louder thanthe stock can and makes the exhaust note sound fantastic.I would love to keep the car but must let it go to a new owner, ho will I hope, are for it as I have. Since I've owned it has been kept in the garage and to keep it rust free have never used water to wash it. Overall, itis a turn key car thatis fully functional and a pleasure to drive. It feels like driving a new car, t's nice and tight and performs as it should. If you're looking for a fun to drive classic that will only go up in value don't let this one get away. Good luck bidding.
