This is a 1977 Datsun 280z that I purchased it when I was 19 years old back in 1979. I am the second owner. After a couple year of driving it I decide to do a mild modification and one thing led to another and this car been off of road off and on since 1983. I have a restoration shop and has worked on cars ever since I was 16 years old, have a very reputable auto collision facility and restoration shop for last 35 plus years, he reason I am mentioning this, ecause it is not a father and son week end project I am a professional with good name, do not sell nor fix junk. Why am I selling it? As I said I have a restoration shop and as a true old car lover I have collected a few cars that some of them are finished, ome of them been taken apart and setting and some of them has not been touched, ow I am a 55 year old man that realize all this project cannot be finished and be enjoyed, o I let some of them (less loved ones) go. Now that we got that out of the way let’s talk about the car. The body has been heavily modified and the pictures speak for themself, he original drive train is long gone. Back in 1984 I parched a 1983 280zx turbo from insurance pool that was severely damage, ust for drive train witch I still have (motor with 5 speed trans that has less than1300 miles). I have some NOS parts and I have a 1982 280zx none turbo complete see the picture and a 1974 260z less drive train for spare parts. The only part is missing is the windshield. The interior was or is new (I had the whole interior redone with a Honda Prelude front seat and new door panel with electric windows) but was done back in 1990 and has never been set on, t is a bit dusty but all there and for sure is above driver condition. Most of suspension parts have been black powder coded. Anyone in car business knows that if I try to find out how much money I have in it, t would drive me nuts, ll that money I spend was just for enjoyment not for investment and it is time to let go. I got a very low reserve and will see what it will bring, hanks for reading my long description and pleasee-mail me with any quastion you may have through e-bay
I am not what you call used car dealer, ut I am a classic car dealer that %95 of my business is restoration of American old muscle cars and old imports.
