Built on January 15, 951, his outstanding example has won multiple awards, ncluding many National DeSoto Club Convention Car Show awards.
a 250 cid/116hp “L-head” 6 cylinder engine with a Stromberg carburetor and Tip Toe Shift Fluid Drive (Prest-O-Matic), his Custom came with lots of options, ncluding: radio, eater, hite wall tires, ull wheel covers, irectional signals, ack up lights, nd a lighted hood ornament. The hood ornament honors Hernando de Soto, 16th century explorer who was the first documented European to have crossed the Mississippi River, nd his image can be found in several places on the automobile. The Ivory interior isexquisiteand complements the Midnight Blue exterior beautifully.
