Description

Please read ad completely before bidding. You are bidding to purchase this car. No refunds on deposit and please no games!!
I have a 1958 Desoto Firesweep 2 door hardtop for sale. Car appears to be rather rare and sought after. This car is in very good shape. Would not take much to restore or get road ready. Car has the original 350 Wedge engine with the push button automatic transmission. Car ran anddrove when parked. Motorstill turns over smoothly.Car rolls and stops. Has disc brakes on thefront, rums on rear. Have not started the car. Fuel tank fuel of old gas. Tank needs drained and cleaned. Car was originally yellow with black roof with a black stripe down the side. Previous owner had the car painted black with a yellow stripe. He moved the mirrors back to the door from the fender. He had dummy spot lights on it. Decided he didn't like them. He also removed all the emblems from the car. He misplaced them except the Desoto letters for the hood. Car has dual exhaust. Interior was removed so he could die the seats and door panels. Everything is there. Have the factory radio, ash clock, sh trays act.... Have manuals and some documentation on the car. There are some small dents or dings on the fenders from people laying over them. The lower quarter panel and rocker panels on the passenger side have some small bubbles.
The front windshield has some smoking around the edge. The windshields can be purchased still. On the passenger side in the yellow stripe there is some rusting along lower piece of trim. There is a small paint chip on driverside fender. Paint needs clay-barred. Dash is sun faded from setting outside a couple years. Owner was going to paint inside yellow and die the panels red. Dash lid was painted yellow over the green. Car was always garage kept up until two years ago. Chrome is in good shape. One dent on front bumper.
A $500 deposit is required within 24 hours at end of auction. Balance paid in full within 7 days unless arrangements are made prior. Car can be stored inside for 30 days. Will assist with loading it. If there is any questions please ask. Can take additional pictures of the car if requested!! Bid with confidence! Interested in 67 to 71 Mopar trades!
