Description

1957 DeSoto Firedome for sale. 341 HEMI engine. 3 speed torqueflite auto. pushbutton transmission. This is an original owner car. Torqueflite push button trans. 8. 75" rear axle. nbsp; front torsion bar and rear leaf spring suspension. Push buttons work great and trans is functional. just needs clutch pack rebuild. The good: Car has been taken down to metal and primed. Dash and door jambs are painted black. New complete floor pans. New complete trunk pan. Front and rear suspension are solid and tight. All wiring and electrical are present and in good condition. Tail lights and head lights work. Needs electrical in the dash work. Good brakes. Rebuilt master cylinder. New rear wide-whitewall tires. Seats are in good shape. no tears. The 341 Hemi runs strong. no smoke. no noise. no leaks. I have run the engine several times for about 45 minutes. I have done the oil filter convertion and it now has a spin on oil filter. Everything works. It does need a ignition relay or switch. The bad: needs fuel tank and sender. Transmission needs rebuild. Needs outer rockers. Needs some electrical work. cracked side glass. Pitted glass. Front and rear glass are decent. no cracks. Damage on driver rear quarter panel. Needs headliner. door panels. and carpet. The transmission is out of the car and ready to rebuild. I would love to see this car on the road. I estimate I can get this car driving for $1. 00.
