Yes, his van is as awesome as it looks! Not only does it have a vinyl wrap with every iconic image of a custom van (wizard, olf howling at moon, nicorn, iking fighting a sabretooth tiger in space, pollo astronauts, 8 Olympic salute, ruce Lee)... but is also in top shape mechanically! Any time anything went wrong over the last six years, ven just a brake squeak, t was fixed immediately. Engine runs great, uspension is tight, rakes are fantastic, ustom exhaust sounds awesome, C blows super cold, eat works, ignals/lights all work, peedo and all the gauges work, tereo, verything. I have the paperwork for all maintenance and repairs. This could be a daily driver no problem, t drives great on the freeway or around town.
I bought it in 2009, t had lived here in Southern California, hen had the wrap put on as well as the entire interior redone including carpet except for the roof and front door panels which I liked the style and kept. Custom built L-shaped seating WITH SEAT BELTS. I have receipts for all the work done including the wrap and interior. Custom front grill too. The wrap is starting to peel on the roof and in a few other places like the windshield and door hinges; the rear flares are cracking too. There are some places inside that could use some deep cleaning (seats, nd the white felt under the back windows from when their weren't closed all the way going into a car wash), ut for a 38 year old van, t's in really good condition.
Under the wrap is the same light blue you see in the interior. It was the original paint and in surprisingly good condition, o if for some crazy reason you don't like big smiles and thumbs up everywhere you go, hen you can get the wrap removed and and still have a cool 70s van that drives great.
