For the love of god! Read thoroughly before bidding!
This 440 Charger was my project/daily driver/baby that I don't have time for anymore. It's one of those "my loss your gain" type deals. The paint on it is just over 1 year old. As soon as I got it back from the body shop I "test drove" it from Vermont to Texas. A lot of stuff broke on that trip and everything that broke was fixed. All gauges work, he lights all work, linkers work. The 727 Torqueflite transmission works. The brakes work (as well as they will on a 73 car) . The car does not have a horn, t has lap belts so if you are going to crash it... good luck. After daily driving it all summer and putting 9000 miles on it, pulled the engine to paint/clean the engine bay and motor. I put new heads on it (closed chambered big valve heads off a 66 Charger 440 from Mr.Norms). Now the motor won't run and seems to be low on compression. Buy at your own risk! I have no clue whats wrong with the motor. Could be as simple as head gaskets or as bad as rings all messed up. What this car really needs is someone who either has another 440 or is mechanically inclined enough to rebuild this one! The interior is beautiful and in good shape. All lights work, he headliner isn't sagging at all etc. The drivers seat has some cracks in the vinyl and the dash has a crack right in the middle. The windshield was replaced when it got a new paint job. The body is the straightest 1973 Charger you'll ever see. It has custom window louvers on the sides and back. It has a one-wheel-squeel 8 1/4 rear installed currently but comes with a suregrip (posi) 8 3/4 with new rear brake components and 3.23 gears. The car has a head unit hidden under the passenger seat and loose speaker boxes behind the seats. Doesn't sound amazing but I sure wasn't going to cut up the interior. The exhaust however, oes sound amazing. Or... did. It has 3 inch side exit exhaust with bullet mufflers. Had long tube headers but they were replaced with stock manifolds in favor of reliability.
Buyer is responsible for picking up the car. I can deliver within 150 miles of 03741 for an extra cost.
Please feel free to email with any questions/requests for more pictures. the pictures of it in the snow were taken today. The pictures with it out in the summer are old but a good representation of the paint quality and how straight the body is. I really don't need to sell, ust tossing out a line here. Also, lease for the love of all that is holy in this galaxy don't offer me your snowmobile for it.
