This is a NO RESERVE auction so it will sell regardless of price. The high bidder will be the new owner (I put it on here to sell). This is a nice original 1953 Dodge Coronet 2 Door Coupe in good shape. Engine runs nice and the car drives down the road like it should. All of the gauges work as they should except for the speedometer. Generator has new brushes and charges good and a new battery last year. Original 6 Volt System.
It leaks a little oil. Insured and driven on a regular basis in the summer, ice daily driver. Paint is as expected on a 63 year old car, oes have some fading toward the front (see pics) and some past bodywork done on it in a few places (amateur job) no collision damage. Most of the chrome is in OK shape. Mostly original interior - front seat has some tears (back seat is nice except for the top back edge), eadliner has 3 small mouse holes. The interior of the car has new floor panels. All windows go up and down nice. Windows in good shape except the driver’s side has a couple cracks and a hole that has been taped. Headlights, aillights, ignal lights, nd brake lights work good. Original radio works great. Starts and runs good. Brakes work good (new steel brake lines in back). Heater works good. Separate defrost fan works good. Horn works good. The car has near new low profile tires with nice original hubcaps. Parking brake not hooked up and may be missing some parts. Rust holes in the back quarter panels (see photos). Frame rails are rusted out, his car could use an off frame restoration. Clear Minnesota Title.
All in all, t's a super nice dependable original '53 Coronet that can be driven daily just the way it is.
