1971 Dodge Challenger R/T finished in Snow White over Black and Orange Houndstooth interior. This collector grade quality Challenger is a ONE of ONE car thanks to its unique white R/T stripe option that is exclusive to the car. No other 1971 Challenger in existence has this white on white combination making it exceptionally rare! Further increasing the rarity, this car still retains its ORIGINAL, NUMBERS MATCHING 340 V8 motor and 3-speed automatic transmission. Coming with 96,007 ORIGINAL miles verified via documentation.
Benefiting from an extensive, NO EXPENSE SPARED frame-off restoration that was completed in 2008, the ownership history on this car has been thoroughly documented. Originally purchased brand new by a young lady in Louisville Kentucky at the Larry Dodge dealership. This original owner had the car 10 years before selling it to her nephew in 1981, and from there the car switched hands 2 more times before landing in the possession of Bob Meldahl - And with the help of John Dawson, the two started to restore the car themselves. But after a series of events in 2007, they were forced to hand off the restoration to the very well known Jack Cunningham of Jack's Garage in Mt. Vernon, Ohio. The car was completed on July 30, 2008 and debuted at Mopar Nationals the very next week.
Coming with options such as; 340 four barrel V8 (E55), 727 3-Speed automatic transmission (D32), Snow White paint (GW3), high grade cloth interior (H5XP), vinyl roof (V1X), bucket seats (C55), 3 speed windshield wipers (J25), sport hood with no decal (J54), drip rail moldings (M21), dual exhaust (N41), bright exhaust tips (N42), tachometer (N85), emissions control (N95), AM radio (R11), White Stripes (V6W), 26 inch radiator (26), power steering, 14" ralley wheels with dark argent centers, GoodYear Polyglas F70-14 reproduction tires, rear deck spoiler, full spare tire/jack and extra Mopar yellow cap battery.
