Description

For Sale: 1992 Dodge Ram W250 LE 4x4 5.9 Cummins one owner w/ 118,655 original miles.

This truck is one of the last rare finds in this condition. Comes with 45+ receipts since it was new for any service and repair, and the original owners manuals and window sticker. Clear title ready to go, I bought this with the intention of building it, but its to nice to start to mod up. All I’ve done since I purchased it is change the battery and add the 3-1 gauge on steering column, and 4” Diamond Eye exhaust. It is loud outside but fine in the cab, buyer can add a resonator or muffler if you chose. Some of the latest receipts show, injectors rebuilt and injector pump rebuilt 2,000 miles ago cost for all 2,500$. Rebuilt pump failed in 11/15 and new pump was installed cost 2000.00$ Seats recovered for 600$, Maaco re-spray for 3000.00$, New Goodyear Duratrac 265/75-16 installed less than 3000 miles ago. The truck starts and runs perfect, see video. Drives better than my 2012 6.7 does with no steering play and no wandering. I use to own a 1993 W350 5.9 and I know what they can ride / drive like but not this one its truly perfect to drive. The trans is strong no slipping or off shifting. The brakes are good, but could be better. I would have them serviced in time. I wanted to do a rear disc conversion if I were to keep it. The Maaco paint job is crap…the paint has chipped in many places and over all just looks Ok. The truck had spent its life in California so I'm sure the paint was faded. The bed has been sprayed and the roof also with a type of rhino liner. All the lights and signals work as they should, and the gauges and the window and door locks work fine, AC blows cold and cruise works great. Door panels are missing a few clips typical on the 1st gens. The four wheel drive switches fine between 2 and 4 wheel drive, it also has locking hubs that work fine. I drove it one time in the Minnesota snow and it performed great. Thats another reason I cant see keeping it, the salt that is used here in the winter would eat this truck alive. Being it's a California truck and is super clean it should stay that way. A viper alarm was also installed by the previous owner, its nothing great just remote lock and unlock your doors with the key fob and maybe a light sensor for tampering. No 5th wheel in the bed or signs of one ever being installed, does have the heavy duty receiver if you want to tow. I can’t think of anything else Ill let the picks and video tell the rest. I’m not looking to make a killing on the 1st gen like other I have seen just want my money back out of it what I put into it. I feel the price is fair so please don't ask if Ill take under asking or low ball me, call or text 507-316-4247.

( The MPH gauge in the picks and video looks like it has a yellow mark, there is no mark it's a reflection of yellow heat shrink off the back of the 3-1 gauge on the steering column. Also, the 3-1 gauge display looks like it is scrolling on the ERT in the video, again it doesn't scroll its the video recording that makes it look like it is.)
