Please scroll down to see 60 plus pictures of this amazing 71 Charger 440 With Factory AC!

Here is a very rare opportunity to own this 1971 Dodge Charger which was a California car its whole life and was never rusted. The panels are all original and as straight as they get. The car is a 2 owner car from new, and it shows 15,857 miles on the odometer. From what I am told, it was in a climate controlled garage its whole life and was rarely driven by the first owner. The second owner did a cosmetic restoration The car was originally red and it was completely stripped down with all glass and interior panels removed and it’s color changed to black. The paint is 5 years old and still stunning and has no swirl marks; when you look at the paint, you can see your reflection anywhere on the car. The restoration on the car was basically just a color change on an amazing rust free car that never was damaged or dented. The paint is very glossy and shows very well. At the time of painting, the bumpers were re-chromed and still look new. I have the bumper guards as well, but they are not on the car. The black interior is all original, showing its low mileage state. The seats are in excellent condition and are very firm. The headliner is also in excellent condition, as are the carpets and door panels. It has the original factory radio still in the car and also an upgraded CD player with all new speakers -- it sounds amazing. Inside the car you will find this Charger to have factory AC, and it's ice cold. It’s very rare to see a car with all its original AC components and still working. I added new window felts and rubber as well as new door sill plates to complete the look of the beautiful interior. Mechanically, the car was originally a 383 High Performance car as shown by the VIN and fender tag. 5 years ago, the previous owner changed the 383 to a 440 Magnum which was out of his 1968 Charger that was hit in the rear. The motor was completely rebuilt and has only 3000 miles on it since then. It runs very strong and sounds incredible. It has a larger cam that gives it that amazing sound at idle. It’s adapted to a 727 torque flight transmission which is original, as is the 8 3/4 rear end with 273 gears. You will notice the engine compartment to be very clean, and it has the original Dual snorkel air cleaner which works properly. The car starts right up and will light up the pavement if you hold the gas down. It doesn't just look good, it drives amazing! The following service has also been performed on the car: 4 brand new BF Goodrich tires that were custom made with the red line as shown in the photos. The tires are staggered with 255/60/15 in the rear and 225/60/15 in the front. They look stunning on the car and everyone compliments them immediately. The brakes are all new, and the transmission fluid and filter were replaced with new gasket. The engine oil was changed, and all the coolant was flushed as well. New air filter, new rear leaf springs original from Mopar Performance. This service has made a huge difference in the car's drive. It holds the road amazingly and doesn't wobble. The suspension bushings and the front suspension are new as well as the tie rod's center link, etc. For the purists: The trunk floors are like new -- there is a trunk mat and full size spare as well. The under carriage photos show its original state. Nothing was painted or under coated – there is nothing to hide – this is a car that was preserved and given a new look and more muscle. This is a very hard car to find, as most of these cars were rusted or had panels replaced and full of Bondo. This car is one that you can call an original survivor with all its metal as she came when new. The entire car was wet sanded and buffed and mirror polished to show its pristine condition. It's stunning and really is an exceptional car. I am pricing it to sell. Click the buy it now! These cars don't come around often. Please read my feedback as I take pride in selling great cars. Please enjoy the pictures as the car speaks for itself. It truly draws a crowd where ever it goes. Show it or drive it. It’s ready to go. I have clear title. The full size spare goes with the car. I had the wheel repainted and a new tire installed. Tools and jack are included.
