Bought this car in 2002 and started the restoration. Nevada car, never any rust, never wrecked, and all body lines and gaps are factory straight.

The engine was professionally rebuilt. It was bored 20 over, has an Edelbrock aluminum intake and 4 BBL carb with headers and 360 heads. Engine was original and never worked on until rebuild. I still have all original parts, engine starts and runs great and is very peppy. The odometer shows 29,000 mi. but I’m guessing it rolled over once. The rebuild was complete in 2004 and I have put about 5000 miles on since. All mechanical parts were checked out, repaired or replaced before the car was put back together. All bushings, springs, ball joints, etc. were replaced. Steering box and tranny were rebuilt, radiator was re-cored.

Because the car was so nice I decided to restore it to the way it came from the factory. The hood was missing so I put on a RT Rallye hood and bullet style racing mirrors. Sheet metal is original except for the front bumper which is a new reproduction. Has new Year One upholstery, head liner, and carpet. Door panels and all hard vinyl is original and re-dyed. There is a crack in the driver side door panel that can only be seen when the door is open. The windows rolled up kind of hard when restored so I loosened up the window guides. Now they roll up easy but rattle a bit when the door is slammed so they need to be tightened again.

Has factory air which was checked but I never had it recharged. Brakes are still manual drum and work but you may want to switch to front discs for more stopping power.

I have two rebuild sheets, lots of receipts, pictures, and original parts. Contact me for more info.
