This '79 Li’l Red Express is powered by a unique 360 CID V8 and is equipped with an automatic A-727 3 Speed transmission with a 3.55:1 rear gearing. This motor is special because it is actually a modified version of the 360 police interceptor engine (E58). Interestingly the Li’l Red Express was the fastest American made vehicle from 0-100mph as tested by Car and Driver magazine in 1978. For an added dose of reliability and power this vehicle has had an Edelbrock performance carburetor installed. Options on this 1979 Li’l Red Express include: AM/FM Radio w/8 Track, Seat Belts, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Vinyl Interior, and Firestone Firehawk Radial Tires wrapped around Chrome American Racing Wheels.
