Description

1964 Dodge 440 2 dr. Hardtop 440 V8 Six Pack. The 1964 Dodge 440 is truly a classic. The styling is unique to the 1964 model year. Also the 440 was last produced in 1964. Some of the notable items on the 64 Dodge 440 include the unique Chrysler mid century styling of the roof line and the candy cane trim side moldings. This rare Dodge 440 was built by a Mopar collector who wanted a show car as well as a totally dependable driver. After a 4 year professional rotisserie restoration of a western rust free car, ( see pictures, the Dodge was driven on the Hot Rod Power Tour and then shown and driven to many Mopar events. This Dodge was completed about 3 years ago and still shows and drives as it did at completion, about 5K miles ago. As stated the Dodge started as a rust free western car. The Dodge was stripped to bare metal and painted in a high quality base clear finish. I was told by the restoration shop that the body was one of the best they had seen. The 440 V8 was added and completely rebuilt using unleaded gas friendly parts. The 3 two barrel carbs were sent and rebuilt and calibrated. The transmission was rebuilt with modified torque converter and internals to make the 727 push button unit more driver friendly and dependable. Front disc brakes were added for better stopping. Also the power steering makes the Dodge a pleasure to drive. The interior is new (door panels are original and have been renewed). The paint and body are excellent. All glass, stainless, and chrome are excellent. Also included are the original owners manuel and build sheet. This is approximately a $60K restoration. Look at all the pictures and see the quality workmanship that went into the Dodge. Also compare another 440 priced at $79K recently on EBay. As usual the Dodge will be sold as is without warranty, expressed, written or implied. If you are in the area please come by and inspect this classic in person before auction end. If this is not possible please review my EBay feedback on a few other classics I have sold. I know everyone's opinions and expectations are different on a 50 year old classic, so do not hesitate to call with any questions or concerns. If you are tired of all the Mustangs, Camaros, and Tri 5's, nbsp; perhaps this timeless, rare classic is for you. Jack Moore Atlanta, Georgia. 404-455-0304
