1948 dodge d24 5window coupe, I am third owner of this car, it was bought new by family here and driven for many years, after owner passed it set for many years under a shed, was finally bought by an individual here who keep it foe a few year. nd then I bought it. the car is original, in very good shape for a 67yr old car that has never been restored, he interior seats are in fair shape sound but need to be redone, the car has new exhaust pie and muffle. new gas tank, new brakes and new rubber brake hose. he dash in car is in good shape with some pitting of the chrom. as not been modified from original state, has original radio, gauges as amp meter, oil pressure, which reads 20 -40 pds when running, heat gauge works, /p>
the engine runs very well holds good oil pressure, the fluid drive tranny works very well in both mode. uto or straight drive, has new tires p-205-75 on front and p235-75 on rear on original wheels with hub caps and trim rings. the fire wall in car has not been altered or beaten up, nbsp; I drove this car up till time I remove headlights, tail lites, and stainless trim all of which is in good shape, missing one piece from r/f fender, which I was going to put back on car the lower tri. was only going to use chrome that runs from hood to trun. ives car a more classic street rod look, he heater in car works, floor boards as sound as can be expected in 67 yr old car, with usual rust spots at door opening very little easy to repair, floor board has only couple places needing repair, the trunk needs a little work where spare tire sits rusted on bottom, trunk needs to be finished with what ever u like as trim, glass in car all there some cloud. but it all flat glass so not to expensive to replace, all door locks work, trunk lock works. well this pretty well describes the car and condition to best of my abilit. if you would like more pics I can email, any further questions just contact m. car is for sale locally so I reserve right to end auction if sold locally, thank you for looking
