All of the doors on the service body open and close some need encouragement. Homemade wood ladder rack is serviceable but could use some attention. (I've had over 500lbs on the rack before.)The good:360 Engine rebuilt 07/2011 (have receipt - paid 1600$). Less than 10k miles on it since. New pistons (.030 over) rod and main bearings (.010) cam bearings rv camshaft new hydraulic lifters timing chain freeze plugs high volume oil pump. Block crank and heads were magna-fluxed. Block was bored honed and resurfaced. I never realized I spent that much on this thing until now.The Bad:Rust... Lots of it. The roof has a 3" x 8" portion that has been patched with roofing tar and steel mesh... Good thing the truck is dull black to match (mostly it's also yellow gray and gold in various places.) I took pictures of the various rusty places so you can see for yourself. I didn't take a picture of the one rusty frame area I'm aware of which is on the driver side rear leaf spring front mount. It's been like that since I have owned it but the spring is still in it's factory location and I've hauled a variety of heavy hings without suspension issue. (Including 1.5 yards of fill once.) That doesn't mean I trust it to stay serviceable for long. It's hard to start. It has a manual choke and it could really use a new choke cable. I've concluded that it either needs another carb rebuild (properly done this time would help) or better yet a new carb. Once it does start it has to warm up before it idles ok. I have it set to idle a bit on the fast side because the spring that holds the idle screw seems to back itself out otherwise and that has left me scratching my head in parking lots a few times. It's dirty needs a front end alignment the power steering belt is a touch loose the bed was rusty and got some plywood which is now crusty the engine fans only work via a switch so paying attention to the temp gauge is required and probably some other stuff I can't remember right now.The Required:
