Please note: Before you decide to bid make sure you read all of the description and understand it...You are bidding to own not to come & look and decide you don't want it because it is not what you thought it was or youdon't have the money to pay by the terms!!There are additional pics of the undercarriage at the bottom of this description.Up for bid is a 73 Dodge Dart Sport Originally 340 4-speed with air conditioning 8 1/4 rear and fold down rear seat now no engine or trans...Rare major project rolling chassis car...One of 1099 total 4-speeds produced and this one was probably the only one ever built this way...Documented with dash vin fender tag matching body sequence number stampings and clear Pa title...Uniquely built car from the factory that had V68 & V88 stripe delete tinted windows inside hood release chrome exhaust tips A88 interior decor package B41 power front disc brakes bucket seats and JY9 Dark Gold Metallic with F6L3 Parchmant vinyl interior. Most of the interior has been changed to black and the exterior is a red/orange/primer color...Car needs total restoration and some parts replacement including most body panels floors and trunk...Frame rails and torsion bar crossmember are still faily solid...Driveshaft trans crossmember fan shroud Z bar and some other miscellaneous parts are included as pictured. Since the pics were taken I have also located and will include a lower dash column filler steering wheel center woodgrain metal Dodge decal passenger's side headliner trim and 1 Sport emblem for the fender...The disc brake system is complete and appears to be restorable...The front swaybar is intact...The clutch pedal set up is complete with over center spring and switch...A/C box appears to have had an incorrect evaporator core installed at some time which did not fit the opening so the firewall area around it was cut and bent...There are no under hood A/C components and the box with internal components condition is unknown...The 8 1/4 rear appears to be the correct rear with the 3.21 tag intact but was started to be disconnected at the line and hose sometime previously...The rear drums lining and hardware appear to be complete and in good used condition...The correct 6 leaf 340 springs also appear to still be intact...The rear sail panels some of the other interior panels and armrests were changed to black previously...Some of the panels are the original parchment ones that were sprayed black previously...Steering wheel and column are in good used condition with key and the doors and trunk lock also work with keys...All the glass is decent factory tinted including the windshield which should polish up nicely...There are a few notable scratches on the door and rear window glass but they are not all sanded up or chipped...Gas tank will need replaced...I have the original headliner board if the buyer wants it but it is broken warped and cracked...The hood has rust and holes were drilled at incorrect locations for a scoop that was not included with the car when I bought it...This car had some damage to the driver's side of the front bumper and fender...It may have a bit of side sway on the front unibody but the fenders and hood lined up OK within the factory hole provisions...The inner fenders do have some cracks on the bottom where they connect to the rails and the shock towers may be leaning in from previous driving in this condition...The left front fender has been replaced with a nice used one that did not have any rust holes on the dog leg only a few holes at the top cap...This fender even has the correct factory 340 emblem provisions...The right front fender appears to be original to the car but probably should be replaced due to heavy surface rust on the back side and rust on the dog leg...The front bumper face bar reinforcement bar and left front bumper brackets were straightened...The lower area of the core support had been bent up as well as the top cross bar but both have been straightened...The front suspension will need totally rebuilt...340 numbered torsion bars are intact as well...Driver's door had been replaced previously and is in rough condition on the bottom inside...The wheels are 14 inch steelies and the tires are decent rollers...The grille is in good used condition...Bezels are fair...Seatbelts are included as pictured but shoulder belts are missing...Front bucket seats appear to be the correct year and model but were replaced at some time and have been sprayed black vinyl...The tracks are in very good used condition...The driver's side rocker panel will need replaced passenger's side appears to be repairable...Left side latch pillar had some cracks and has been repaired.Inspections of this car are welcome & strongly recommended before bidding...This carhas sat for a very long time...DON'T ASSUME ANY PARTS OR COMPONENTS ARE INCLUDED OR FUNCTIONAL WITH THIS AUCTION IF THEY ARE NOT PICTURED OR MENTIONED SPECIFICALLY AS BEING INCLUDED OR WORKING...IF UNSURE ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING...It does not have all hardware installed or included & may not have all areas needing repairs listed.- Call for appointment 570-539-2618...Seller reserves right to accept highest bid if reserve is not met...Seller reserves right to end this auction early & to remove any bids...I will not accept bids from anyone with a lot of negative feedback ratings!...
