This was my dream car since I was 10 years old, nd it has been a pleasure to own. It puts a smile on my face every time I take it out. Unfortunately, ue to relocation and downsizing, here is no more room for it. Whoever ends up with this car, ill be happy with it for years to come.
ConditionOverall, he car is in near flawless condition. The paint is beautiful. There are no scratches, r gashes, r dents, n the vehicle. There are a few hairline swirl scuffs that are barelynoticeable, nless you know exactly where they are, nd the exact angle and lighting to spot them. Theinterioris in perfect condition. The seats barely show any wear. The part of the dashboard that is made from the fuzzy like plastic is in greatcondition, ut as with all Gen I cars, here are some hairline scratches and scuffs and it shows some age. This is normal in all of the first gen Viper's. Overall, he car looks and drives like new. When I converse with people and let them know it is a 1993, heir jaws typically drop.
There are 3 minor imperfections on the vehicle which I would like to mention. The first is the soft top roof. I punctured a tiny slit in it, s the windows and roof were in the trunk. The windows have a piece of metal that is sharp, hat goes into the door when installed, nd it punctured the roof. The slit is around 1.5 inches in length. I bought some boat adhesive (as suggested by the guys on the Viper Club of America), hich is like a clear sticker, nd that took care of it. It is on the inside of the roof, nd it is barely noticeable. You cannot see it from the outside. The second thing to note is there is a few small spots of paint bubbling on the side sills. The exhausts on these cars get very hot. Over time, he side sills will bubble and need to be refinished. The side sills on my Viper are original. There has been no paint work done to them. As it is a minor cosmetic blemish, nd there are only a few of them, had no plans to do this any time soon. In the photos, have circled the couple of areas where the bubbling is so that you can see exactly where it is. The last thing to note, s that there is some spotting of oil coming from the oil pan. When I say spotting, mean very little. I had it in at the Viper tech and he said it is the oil pan gasket, hich is not difficult or expensive to swap if needed. His suggestion was, Don't worry about it, he is just marking her territory." As it is very little spotting, have not worried too much about it. I have kept an eye on it over the past 3 years and it has been consistent.
