Description

Up for auction is this 1953 Dodge Military ambulance with 401 v8 Buick Nailhead motor. Warn manual lock out front hubs.
Turbo 400 auto tranny. 3 speed automatic. Motor and tranny have less than 10,000 miles (Drive trail mileage is 43,601).
It starts and runs, ut will need some TLC.
The transfer case, ront and rear axles are good. Missing front drive shaft; rear drive shaft is good.
I couldn't find an "M number" but there is an Assigned California Control Number of 209702 (in addition to the VIN)
Speaking of California Control, hey listed in their paperwork that this was an AMC engine, nd not Buick. But yes, t is a Buick
engine.
This truck is a little rusty, ires need air/replaced, tc, ue to being stored for decades. Hasn't been moved in 15 years.
I'd planned on restoring it myself, ut time, oney and family didn't allow it!
So I want this to go to a good owner to restore it to its beauty!
