Since I obtained 9 months ago, 've reupholstered the seats, eplaced the rubber floor with new carpet, nd I've added brand new chrome wheels and high profile off-road tires to recreate the custom look of the late 1970's. This Californian edition was the west coast's answer to the Lil Red Wagon. 400 cubic inch engine runs great. I've invested $7,500 into this beauty since I bought it. Needs body and paint and new bed-wood installed. Less than 65,000 original miles.
The truck needs a good body and paint man. Its built like a tank and turns heads wherever it goes. The engine sounds like a beast and runs like it too. This truck gets compliments from everyone when I drive it.
The Californians were a limited edition customization out of Sunnyvale, alifornia by the same dealer who customized vans in the late 1970's. I have some great memorabilia from the late 1970's that I will include.
