Description
This is a Real 1969 dodge super bee that I purchased 15 years ago that I was going to fully restore butI am now retired and don'thave the money or ambition to finish it. The first thing that I did was take to a body shop and had all the rusted panels cut out and replaced which was in front and behind the rear tires. I don't think there is any rust anywhere else in the car. After I had this work done 15 years ago it has been stored in my shop. The 383 magnum motorhad just beenrebuilt when I purchased the car and I have put less than 500 miles on it.It has rear air shocks. I have installed a new Holley Performance 750 cfm 4 barrel carburetor,a B&M shifter but also left the original steering column shift lever and gear indicator in the car ( just in case a new owner wants to put it back to original),new carpet, ll new gauge cluster faces, nd complete new exhaust system. I have kept all the chipped paint spots primed to keep from rusting. The previous owner had sprayed the underside and trunk with a undercoating. This is a strong great running car.Things that still need to be done are. The tread on tires looks new but the side walls are weather checked. It needs some minor body work and paint.Where the body shop repaired the panels years ago it has some hair line cracking where they put a thin layer of bondo over the panels they replaced. Needs a spare tire and jack. The head liner and sail panels need to be replaced (see picture). The interior is great other than 4 small rub spots on the drivers seat (see picture). The tic tac clockuse to work fine until I had the gauge cluster faces redone so it maybe just a wire that is not hooked up and I believe the last thing is the back lower part of the window needs to be resealed with mastic and the lower chrome trim piece need to be straighten and installed which should be able to be done by a body shop (see picture).I don't think there is anything else that needs to be done to make this a all around great car. The previous owner told me that theengine, ransmission, nd all therunning gear was original. If you have any other questions please e-mail me. THIS AUCTION MAY END EARLY BECAUSE IT IS ALSO LISTED ELSEWHERE.
