You are bidding on an entry-level 1981 Ferrari 308 GTSi. It runs & drives fairly well butIS NOTa $50-$75k car! Looks good from 20 feet away. Up close it has lots of flaws!
*EXTERIOR FLAWS-MinorRust in about 10 places-Light hail damage-Clear Coat has completely come off the car except on the passenger side. -Crackeddrivers-sideturn signal-Cracked windshield-Small hole in right-rear brake-light lense-Missing onewheel lug-nut-Small crack in left-rear lower fiberglass-Passenger side key lock needs to be put back on
*INTERIOR FLAWS-Dash has cracking-Both door panels need work-Console is missing one knob-Console leather needs work-No radio-Passenger seat is missing one bolt
*MECHANICAL FLAWS-Head Light switch works but needs some maintainence-Passenger side window doesn't roll down-AC compressor is installed but not currently running-Small oil leaks on pavement when car sits-Windshield wipers don't work-Tires all hold air but are cracked from sitting-Timing belts aren't cracked but haven't been changed since at least 2008
*MAINTENANCE-oil/filter change 2016-New Battery 2016-Complete brake work to include rotors, master cylinder, calipers, and E-brake 2009-Complete tune up to include gaskets, injectors, injector seals, ignition harness, plugs, etc... 2009FYI-I have no other maintainence records prior to this!
*The Targa style top is not in the pictures but I do have it. It looks great & fits fine!
*Carfax shows a front collision in 2008. Was told by the guy I bought it from that it happened in a parking lot! All it did is brush the front bumper & crack the front-drivers side turn signal that's on the front bumper. That light is still cracked. Did not touch/damage the actual body of the car.
*The exhaust has been modified & all the smog-equipment is off. I believe I have all these parts plus the original exhaust & black exhaust cover. They will go with the car. We don't need emissions test on any vehicle manufacturedprior to 1982 here in Albuquerque.
*VEHICLE HISTORYI believe the car was originally from Evanston, IL. It was sold to a guy in Wyoming in 2008. Then it was brought here to Albuquerque in 2009. I have photo copies of the Wyoming & New Mexico titles. Counting myself, I believe this car has had 4 owners.
*This Ferrari starts up first time every time. You can drive it like it is or drop a lot of money in it and have your $75k-plus show-car. This is a chance for someone to get in a driver 308 at a reasonable price! I don't think these cars are going to get any cheaper!
