At the 1976 Paris Auto Salon Ferrari introduced the new 400 2+2 its replacement for the 365 GT4 2+2. Featuring distinctively angular styling by Pininfarina the 400 continued to provide luxurious and spacious high-speed transportation for up to four passengers. Produced in 400 and 412 variants from 1976 until 1989 just 2383 examples of this limited-production series were built. With its handsome bodywork and high performance levels the 400 has recently attracted the attention of astute Ferrari collectors and enthusiasts and they are widely regarded as very capable grand touring machines.

Presented in an elegant and refreshing color combination of Grigio over Light Grey leather upholstery this particular 412 was completed in November of 1986 and later imported by J. Frank Harrison. Presented today as a great driver example this beautifully preserved 412 offers good cosmetics and presents well inside and out. The paint displays a glossy shine while all rubbers remain supple. The clean cabin features dual A/C climate zones - front and rear Blaupunkt New York Radio and excellent original leather upholstery. The Ferrari remains largely original throughout with no modifications. Complemented by a set of correct five-spoke magnesium wheels and Michelin tires this elegant yet very sporty 412 is certain to offer the thrilling and roomy driving experience that only a Ferrari 2+2 can deliver. Factory emergency roadside kit with roll jack fuse holder and spare accompany along with duplicate Owner's Manual and glove box light. A recent thorough inspection showed strong mechanicals with and subsequently the car received a servicing including new fuel pumps replaced ignition module and repair electrical systems for seats and lights. The car also received a thorough detailing from top to bottom including the underside.
