Ebay has a very hard time with the VIN numbers of certain European cars and Ferrari's fit that bill so I could not get it in the VIN number to work in the required slot. Vin reads as follows; zffld14b000055909Up for auction 1985 Ferrari Mondial Quattrovalvole3.0 L DOHC 5 speed manual 4 seat sunroof coupe in Ferrari Rossi Red with only 54615 original miles. The leather is comfortable and the seats front and rear are well proportioned for long distance driving. Clutch was replaced a year ago and the car shifts as designed. All fluids have been replaced on a regular basis as required. This includes coolant brakes gear oil for transmission and engine oil. All filters have been replaced on a regular basis and as required and this includes the air filter oil filter and fuel filter. Right after I purchased the car I had the cam tensioner bearings and belts replaced. Have receipts for parts and a few other service records given from previous owner. Included in the sale a full set of original metric wheels and tires. Car drives Excellent handles Great brakes Great. Power feels smooth and strong. Would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere! Issues exist on the car:
1. Sunroof needs a new cable - this is a common Ferrari issue and the unit is a Mercedes Benz unit so the cable is not hard to get and have repaired.
2. The ignition switch has a toggle switch added to send power to the ignition. Then car starts by the ignition key switch. Again this too is a common Ferrari issue from cars of this period.
3. The stereo is not hooked up and have not address because the engine sounds GREAT.
This is a Excellent example of a '85 Mondail driver quality! Happy to answer any other questions.
