Description


You are bidding on a completely changed for the better Ferrari 400i. It has been chopped, ut and rebuilt as a 1958 Testarossa. I have several videos I can email you if you like.


Yes it carries a Ferrari title from the 400i donor car. I had trouble with ebay loading these details of the donor car so here they are for your use.


The VIN on the donor car is ZFFEB06G000041217. Year 1982. Body 2 door. Make Ferr. Current title is Florida.


The body is hand formed Aluminum that took over 3 years to build.


Keeping with the Italian theme the motor is a Ghibli Maserati V6 DOHC and matching automatic tranny showing carbs down the middle.


This drive train was sourced because it was affordable and fit in the engine bay. But there are always lots of options if you are willing to pay for them.


Some pictures of other builds in my collection are provided as reference material. This way you will get a feel for the quality of the Art this Ferrari shares.


First Reference is my Delahaye 135 and titled as such. The entire rolling running chassis is all straight 6 Delahaye 135 from 1938. The hand formed aluminum body is a rebody of the famous Figoni Torpedo.


Second Reference is my Bugatti Atlantic built on a Jaguar platform with Jag 6 DOHC. This is hand formed metalbody.


Third Reference is a another Delahaye 135. I took the Dubos body (i still have it) off and am putting this one of a kind Figoni Coupe on it.
