RARE 1970 Francis Lombardi Fiat 850 Grand Prix
History: Car has been sitting for the last 30 years it has been kept inside and has not been running, o we are not able to test the car. We are not sure of exact size engine on this car but we know it is a L4 cylinder engine. RWD. Manual transmission (4 speed + reverse).
The following is a description and history how these Fiat/Lombardi's came to be made. We have not been able to verify which specific engine is running in this car.

The Grand Prix was built atop the Fiat 850's chassis and borrowed many of its mechanics including the rear-engined configuration. When introduced, hey featured the 850's 843 cc, our-cylinder engine producing 34 horsepower. The American versions, ubbed the OTAS 820 Grand Prix, ere smaller and given an 817-cc engine capable of producing 52 horsepower.

Most of the mechanics were borrowed from the Fiat. A four-speed synchromesh gearbox and front transverse leaf spring and rear trailing arms and coil springs suspension were courtesy of the Fiat 850. Zero to sixty for the 1450 pound vehicle took around sixteen seconds. Stopping power was provided by front disc and rear drum brakes.

The vehicle sits very low to the ground, nly 5.5-l inchs high. It is a very small vehicle, nly 42 inches high.
This 1970 Lombardi Grand Prix is built to European Specifications. Regular versions of the 1970 Lombardi, ith their 843cc engine, ere capable of a 16-second zero-to-sixty time. This vehicle can reach sixty mph around 11 seconds.
This car has a 5.5-inch ground clearance, eighs 1450 pounds, nd is only 42-inches tall.

This car was originally powered by a 982cc four-cylinder engine tuned by Fiat tuner Giannini. The engine now displaces 1013cc, as twin-barrel Weber carburetors, nd produces 75 horsepower. This is a big increase over the factory version which had 34-horsepower.

We are not able to test all the workings of this car being that we cannot start the car. See pictures for the condition of the body and interior.
