I had plannedon dropping ina 220hp K20A Honda VTEC and 5 speed but funds ran out for this project... Soooooooo... It's up for grabs.
1979' Fiat X-1/9 Bertone 5-speed... 1500cc carb motor... Clear title... Car is all there down to the center caps... Even has the original spare behind the passenger seat... And acassette player!!!

ONLY42,187 ORIGINAL MILES!!!

I strongly recommend prospective buyers view the car in person... Although my standards are very high... Theymay differ from yours.

This X-1/9 is listed on multiple websites so it could be sold at any time... Minor issues relevant to a car 36 years old... No major rust... One small rust hole in drivers pan and a few surface spots on the cowl and lower kick panel... Rockers are solid... Left front fenderlooks to havehad some repair work previously done... Can't verify the extent of this repair...

Passenger windowregulator possibly bad also... Have not taken the door panel offto verify the exact cause... Targa top in excellent condition.

With the interior in super great shape minus some seams neededre-stitching on the driver and passenger seat... This would be an easy restoration... Car has also had a re-paint at some point of the original color silver and could probably use another...Parts are readily available from a number of online retailers.

I also have a very goodset of dualWeber 40-12 series DCNF carbs off of a Ferrari Dino/Lancia Betathat would fit this motor nicely for sale minus the intake which I don't haveif the buyer is interested. If buy it now is used... I'll throw them in... These carbs are worth about $900.00.

$500.00 due at end of auction... Vehicle sold "As Is, here Is" No warranty expressed nor implied...

I've received several questions about the engine possibly being seized up... I hooked a fresh battery to the car... It turned over nicely.. I cranked it for about 3 to 4 seconds... No abnormal crank noises... No abnormal fluctuation in rpm's during cranking indicating bent valves or compression loss... I did not attempt to start the engine. Alternator appears to be seized up... Water pump is tight to turn... All lighting functions as it should... Even the radio and clock work as they should. Headlamps pop up and illuminate. Hazards work.
