You are bidding on an 1974 Fiat X1/9 First year of production. (Currently registered in California) Clear Title in hand, nbsp;in great condition inside and out. Only 23,000 original miles.
Body: no rust, o dents. Absolutely straight and with no signs of accident damage. Glass in excellent shape. All floors are original.
Paint: hyper glossy red paint. Paint looks very good and extremely shinny all around; Vehicle has been repainted last year with premium paint and clear coat and then wet sanded and polished. The car was mostly stripped when painted.
Exterior: original euro bumpers are in very good shape (lights and plastics in very good shape with no fading or cracking.
Wheels: Campagnolo alloy wheels in excellent shapestructurally and cosmetically . No curb damage.
Engine: original 1300cc SOHC, xcellent, lways starts at the first turn, dles smooth, uns great and powerful, oesn't burn or take any oil. no leaks. No smoke.
Clutch: in good shape, o vibrations or slipping. Pedal moves effortlessly.
Mileage: 23000 miles since new
Gearbox: Four speed, xcellent, hifts smooth and precise. Synchros are good. No noises or weird sounds!!. no leaks!!
Suspension and Steering: Excellent ride, eel very solid and stable. Springs and shocks in very good shape all stock. Steering feels firm. The upper shock rubber bushings look old and with some cracks but still hold very well.
Brakes:Good condition. Car stops straight with no vibrations or noises.
Instruments and Warning lights: All in perfect working condition. All external lights, urn signals, azard lights, igh beams, nstrument cluster lights in perfect working condition. Speedometer and odometer are working fine.
Climate Control: Heater works fine. Blower works.
Interior: Seats in excellent shape, arpet in good shape but slightly faded, eadliner in very good shape, ashboard in good shape but with 2 long cracks across the middle, enter console in very good shape, oor panels in very good shape.This is a non-smoker vehicle!
Tires: tires are almost new in four corners. Spare tire in good shape.
Sound System: original Fiat vintage stereo works.
Miscellaneous: Jack and wrench included.
Car History: Car belonged to Fiat guru, ony Toscano. He was the most reputable Fiat mechanic in Los Angeles, ho later owned a Fiat Dealership. He used to keep the best cars for himself. My friend purchased several cars from him along the years. They are still close friends.
