Description
1974 VW super beetle up for sale. This project car was purchased in VA a few months ago as a restoration project but does not look like it is going to be for us. Car is still titled in VA. but i do have the clear title in hand to give you. Bug runs and drives but carburator needs gross adjusting down. Muffler off. Started to clean up the Bug. took out seats and started by removing the flooring and has exposed some rust holes but nothing enormous. I do suggest given the amount of work this bug needs to restore they should be replaced at a point. Gas tank now out of bug but comes with - was looking for a leak but may have been in the hose. Car sold with tank but not installed. Car came to me with with nonfunctional brakes so bought new master cylinder. front and rear brakes. springs and calipers all around yet to be installed but comes with car (cost 150$). Body needs works. especially near back windows as seen. One window is broken as shown. Hood off to take out tank and not sure if it is the proper year for the hood but it fits and closes. Motor looks like the original 1. 6 and does function as of a month ago before took tank out. Do not have bumpers or really any other parts than shown but that is also what came with the original car purchase. Car is sold as is. so please ask. My opinion is if you redo the brakes and re-install the tank with a carb adjustment. you can drive it with no troubles other than aesthetics. If you are from out of town. will gladly work with your shipper.
