Description

This is a good ol Italian sports car. It had a Calif. title when I found it. nd think it spent most of its life there but I'm not 100% sure. The car did have most of its emissions parts. hich isn't found on Spiders of that year unless it was from Calif. The 61K miles are actual. Went through the car front to back. Things that were ok stayed. If bad or questionable. as replaced. Rebuilt steering. New upper and lower control arm bushings. ie rod ends and center link. Adjusted steering box. Drives very solid with no play or wandering. This car will flat out handle curvy roads like its a straight road. Has had basic tune up parts like cap. otor. oints. lugs and wires. Plus 60k parts. ike new timing belt. water pump and valve adjustments. Brake system was flushed and new pads all the way around. Did have to replace one rotor. t was just bad. Had original Weber carb but just wouldn't run right even after rebuild. Still have it. nd will go with the car. Installed factory reconditioned Holley 5200. hich is a American copy. lmost. Bolts right on with minor linkage modification. Made the engine just purr like a kitten. Makes good power and mileage. Clutch was in good shape and didn't replace. One thing. no speed shifting from first to second. Smooth. ivilized shifting between those gears is crunch free. All other gears not an issue. Unless I'm starting from a stop uphill. I usually start in second anyway. First is very low. Has about 500 miles on brand new tires. The moonie hub caps are stainless. not plastic. New battery. Custom rear bumpers from 71 to 73 Volvo 1800. LED brake lights behind bumpers. Looks cool when you apply the brakes. I do have the factory rear bumper. ill go with the car. All lights work. Install light in trunk and glove box. Interior had dash and center console capped. Center console has stainless instead of wood. Seats are comfy with no splits. Carpet is stock. All gauges work. New temp and oil pressure sending units. New speedo cable. Windows roll up and down smooth. Windshield good. Soft top is original. think. Now holes or rips and rear window is fairly clear. You can see from photos. as a fastback look. Rear top bar was removed. Tried to reinstall. hen top wouldn't close all the way? Top may have shrank over the years. So. took it back out. Looks cool anyway. Bar will go with car. You'll need it if the top is replaced. Comes with new jack. orry not factory fiat. lugwrench and spare. I would probably replace spare tire. Holds air but its old. Have many small parts that will go with car. New thermostat I didn't need. ut someone will someday. little clips. ouple relays. ir pump and brackets. ld Weber. ust Fiat stuff. This car is a good candidate for a Full restoration for a collector. or leave it alone and have something cool to take golfing on sunday. And yes a set of clubs will fit in the trunk. I put a lot of hours into this car because some old cars just deserve a second chance. Hate to see this car go but its just time to find another car to save. efore I get any more attached. I'd have 15 cars if I didn't move them to someone else. LOL. A car person knows exactly what I'm talkin about. Please remember this is not your everyday car to drive back and forth to work. Car is sold as-is. Transportation is the responsibility of the buyer. I can help out by getting car to a city for pickup. I'm in a rural area. Will accept cash of course. ertified check or pay-pal. Thanks for looking and good luck.
