Here is a rare 1957 Fiat 1100 TV Trasformabile (Convertible) that was produced by the Special bodyworks group at Fiat know as Fiat Vetture Speciali. These cars are pretty rare with fewer than 1800 of these cars produced over a three year period from 1955 through 1957. There were 2 different series of the Fiat 1100 TV Transformabile that were produced in this period. This particular car is a second series car that has revised bodywork with the round instrument gauges. The later Fiat 1200 TV Trasformabile produced in 1958 and 1959 had the slightly larger engine with a different instrument pod different seats and different steering wheel. I do have a clear title for this car.
This Fiat is in need of a full restoration both bodywork and mechanicals. It is chassis number 103115001626 and has a later Fiat 1100 engine in it. The engine rotates freely and the car rolls easily.
The original floors will need replacing as well as the trunk floor. It will need extensive metal work in other areas as well. It is missing some of its original exterior trim. What is shown in the photos is what comes with the car.
I do have the original swivel seats and the original tattered fabric that was used on the seats dash padding and rear cockpit is still visible. The “wrap around” windshield looks to be in good shape. The convertible top frame is intact and goes up and folds down. I do have the radiator air filter canister wiper blades new Lucas taillight lenses and a second set of parking lights that mount at the top of the front fenders. In addition I have the rear cockpit aluminum trim piece and the metal "finish" trim piece that fits on the rear bottom of the convertible top.
It may be possible to deliver this car for a fee. Delivery to the port at Newark is also possible.
