Here is a meticulously well-maintained 1962 Fiat Spider Cabriolet. This is an original RUST-FREE Southern California car -- current owner has had it for about 7 years. Prior to that it was owned by the Italian shop Alfa Italia for 28 years. Alfa Italia is an established full service European car specialist in BurbankCalifornia since 1981. In 2008 the shop performed a thorough "frame-off" restoration on the car - they took apart and rebuilt much of the car: brakes engine transmission suspension etc. Also at that time the car was professionally painted Blue Metallic (a vintage GM Nova color). The car was upgraded with a new windshield special sound deadening under the back seat (Dynamat Extreme) it was given a new convertible top with Tonneau cover new rubbers & glass and much more. The radiator core was replaced with a modern one - so it now runs exceptionally cool on hot summer days. The inside was completely redone by Hilborn Motor Cars Interior (Hilborn for over 70 years has won awards in many prestigious events such as The Pebble Beach Concorse d’Elegance National Grand Classic Roll-Royce Owners Club and many others). Owner is now moving and no longer has the time necessary to care for this car. He is hoping to find a good new home for this fine automobile. It is registered through March 2016. There a few minor issues to note: There is some minor pitting in the original chrome on the hood and headlights. Some brake fluid overfilled when the brakes were done and it bubbled a little of the paint inside the engine well. The driver door needs a little adjusting to be aligned a bit better. Finally the speedometer is not working and needs repair. Mechanically the car is running driving and stopping beautifully - properly and meticulously maintained.
