This lovely Fiat Pininfarina Spider is fully sorted, nd the restoration work has our exclusive warranty. Interior leather color is Ferrari saddle. Chasssis is rosso red. Other original chassis and colors are available, ut will affect delivery time line.

Please note that this is a limited production Lusso S2 model, ne of only 50 to be built.

The Lusso package features optional luxury equipment, uel injection, nd the look of vintage spiders from the late 1960"s Fiat Spider 124. Fewer than ten of these special cars are built each year, nd all come with a commerative signed number plate and leather binder. Bumpers are cosmetic and do not meet contemporary 5 mph standards.

Series 2 Lusso features proprietary rack and pinion steering, arger brakes, ustom sway bars, nd an improved, raced sub-structure for safer handling and increased rigidity.

We have a second rust free California chassis in automatic-- available for this project for late Summer delivery if a manual transmission is not preferred.

This proposed Spider will be built to an Avanzato standard, pgrades to include premium paint and advanced mechanical work that is optional on lesser models.

Overview

Our full cosmetic and mechanical restoration process is currently being undertaken, nd the end result will be simply stunning. Detailed information about what this process entails can be found on our web site, nd partially itemized below.

The Lusso leather upgrade package features premium leather seats and head rests, eather door panels, ulls, ccents, nd leather rear wings. In keeping with the original theme, hoice of vintage premium German loop carpet or Wilton wool is included. The signature Rosso Corsa Ferrari exterior color, ith tan caprone leather is one of the most popular combinations ever offered on this model. Other color options can be screened on our web site.

Cosmetic Impressions

Every Roadster Salon car is completely disassembled prior to paint. Body lines are taught, nd new metal is used to repair any imperfections. Media blasting is standard practice on Avanzato and Ultimo level spiders. All are carefully blocked and sanded to a show quality finish, hen wet sanded and buffed before being re-assembled. The color combination is ideal for warm climates. Panel fitment is better than when the car came out of the factory.

We can't say enough about our Lusso interior upgrades. All key surfaces were covered by hand with premum leather--cut from the same premium hyde. No color match issues. Workmanship is to a Ferrari/Maserati standard. Bellissimo. Optional leather rear seat is available which can be added for an upcharge.

Mechanical and Driving Impressions

It is a joy to drive a fully sorted classic Italian convertible. Engine start up, nd idle feels sharp and lively. Acceleration cruising and braking remind the driver of a contemporary car. All of the car's original endearing personality and character remains, ut without the reliability concerns. Just tremendous fun overall.

Please note All Avanzato level cars have the engine and transmissions removed and fully rebuilt as part of the package.

Pricing

Roadster salon carefully hand crafts about 30 cars per year, etailed to the specifications of each customer. There recently has been a huge upswing in the classic car market for vintage spiders.

However, t is important to note that restored automobiles in general should be built for the love and enjoyment of their owners. They are not hugely profitable endeavors--for the builder or reseller. To value a Roadster Salon Spider along side a used Fiat--or measure by a "car guide" is to miss the point of the car entirely.

Our goal is not to build a $150K trailer queen, ut rather a car that can be casually enjoyed when ever the passion arises. In that regard, ur stirring recreations exceed all reasonable expectations. 10/10.

What is other features are included?

Firstly, ur Spider restorations typically fall into three categories. Basso, vanzato and Ultimo (basic/ advanced/Ultimate) Roadster Salon carefully selects candidates for restoration that are already in good overall condition, nd meet our critical standards. Cars that have been severely neglected or have rust issues are set aside for parts use only. Spider Basso models are re-painted in their original color, ue to the cost of a proper color change.

All Roadster Salon cars are fully disassembled before paint. Interiors are refurbished, ncluding new upholstery, arpets, oor panels and console. A new convertible top is professionally installed.

Please see our web site for a complete list of mechanical items addressed in Basso models. Wear items like tires, rakes, nd shocks are always replaced. Other key items inspected and repaired/replaced are fuel system, ooling system, uspension, ransmission, iming belt, nd engine gaskets and seals. Engine compartments are tidy, ut not detailed to Avanzato standards. The Avanzato model has many additional features standard that are optional on the Basso mode. The Avanzato starts at $39,990.

The Spider Avanzato Upgrade

This level restoration can be purchased as a complete package, r a la carte. It is an advanced level restoration that includes all elements of the Spider Basso plus the following elements.
