The car is a 1984 Fiat Pininfarina Spider . The mileage is as shown and I am the third owner, ut have not driven the car muchsince buying it as I bought it as a project andas I just moved I now have more projects then room, o this one goes. I start it regularly and it runs and drivesjust fine.It drives well, ith no rust and no oil leaks and has been in Cal its whole life.
Cosmetically you can see the interior is good for its age and is a non smoker car. The previous owner said a Land Rover backed into the front while parked and damaged the hood. He had it repainted and repaired but the quality is lacking as there are cracks in the paint and the hood was tossed by hi, t had no hood when I bought it. However as this is a Pininfarina model the hood badge isnot a round type but a rectangle shape that was unique tothese models. The interior was redesigned as well from earlier spiders. The repair shop tried to repair the fender edge with a lot of bondo filler butmy intent was to remove the fender and replace itat least the left side. The rightfender may be fine but I have not tried to fit a new hood yet so it will be u to the new owner. He gave me another hood but it is bent and has been painted so if you want it then it comes with the car. From what I can see there is no structural damage but a front left fender will need to be replaced along with a hood. The convertible top will need to be replaced as well but the frame is there and functions as it should. The top is torn and the window is fogged and torn, etter to keep the top down until replaced. The last owner did supply with a folder of receipts for parts, he paint work and work done on the car when I bought it which will go with the car.
If you have any questions let me know. I live in Southern Cal near the 5 Freeway to access.
