Description
Don't make me regret listing this for sale. Serious inquiries only. Up for auction is a REAL 64 1/2 Mustang Pace Car. This is not a clone. this is one of the original 190 that were built in 1964. I have a lot of history on the car it was delivered new to Jacksonville FL. I purchased the car around 15 years ago from the original family. The original owner had passed away and they had no use for it. It had around 55. 000 original miles on it. It has 100% original sheet metal and all original drive train. It is a virgin. I cosmetically restored it using only NOS Ford parts. The only parts that are not original restored or NOS are the carpet and dash bezel. The car is straight and gorgeous. nbsp; Motor was opened up and resealed. All mechanicals were rebuilt. I would not be afraid to drive it anywhere. I have driven it only 8. 00 miles in the 12 years it has been completed. Check out the pictures underneath with original red oxide primer. I added more red oxide primer to places during the restoration. The suspension was not removed from the car just rebuilt. Interior buckets I am told were original. I added a original rally pac. and rare door garnish moldings factory options. How to you tell it is a real Pace Car you ask and not a clone. I have become very versed in these cars. The original door tag has to be color code C Pace Car White. It is slightly different than Wimbelton White. All chrome and weatherstrip is NOS Ford. The only body work is a small patch on the inside of the rear quarter on passenger side. I know I am forgetting something since I don't use this car very much any more. It should be a museum or a large Mustang or Ford car collection. Please bid if only you can pay for car. I will answer all emails or phone numbers that I receive on my email. This is not a fire sale just a great opportunity for the holy grail of Mustangs. 190 built is less than any year Shelby. own a piece of Ford History. I have lots of inquiries is the original or restored. There are very few original parts left that have not been restored. It is a show quality restoration with almost all NOS Ford parts. Museum quality.
